Jan Smaczny, an authority on Czech Music and a popular lecturer on cultural tours to Prague, will introduce our six-day Bohemian programme with a musically-illustrated talk on this vivacious repertoire and its profound surprises. An author, broadcaster and journalist, Professor Smaczny is also Hamilton Harty Chair of Music at Queen’s University, Belfast.
